Teaching and learning is centered around transdisciplinary units of inquiry which integrate and combine different skills and learning areas.

Teachers follow the Oxford International Curriculum and each subject provides opportunities for students to collaborate with peers, to become curious learners who are able to approach challenges with creative and critical solutions. Through Inquiry-Led learning,students develop their knowledge and academic skills simultaneously.

By engaging in inquiry-based learning, students become competent, life long learners.

EtonHouse Pre-school Bahrain provides an Early Years Programme for children aged from 1-4 years of age. Our qualified, international class teachers are supported by classroom assistants.

The early years are vitally important in the mental, physical and social development of every child. It is important that their individual needs are identified through observation and documentation of their interests, development and progress EtonHouse’s early childhood curriculum is inspired by internationally accepted best teaching practice from around the world such as the Reggio Emilia educational project of northern Italy.

At EtonHouse, the child benefits from a learning environment that promotes the continuous development of their social, cognitive, emotional, physical and creative strengths. Children are offered a range of opportunities to explore values, broaden communication skills, collaborate, make personal choices, group problem solve, develop ideas and explore information. Children’s learning and development, during the early years is supported by a framework of long and short term goals. These goals reflect the “whole” development of each individual child.
